Tissot - Solotempo Prx 40205 Quartz T1374101104100
Solotempo quartz watch with integrated bracelet
In 1978 Tissot created a quartz model, made remarkable by its slim case, thin hour-markers and steel bracelet. Its wide horizontal lug, typical of the time, was integrated into the flat tonneau-shaped case. Just a few years later, Tissot registered the name PRX. "PR" stands for "precise" and "robust". The "X" stands for the Roman numeral ten and for the pressure of 10 bar, which is the water resistance of the watch. In 2021 Tissot presented the PRX 40 205, a modern interpretation of the 70's model.
The 316L-steel case of the Tissot PRX 40 205 is 40 mm-wide, tonneau-shaped, with a thin rounded bezel: the vertical-brushed finishings are alternatively rounded and with polished faceting.
This specific model is fitted with a blue sunray dial and nickel-plated hands and indexes . The flexibility and portability of the links make the bracelet a true ergonomic design achievement, providing an excellent comfort.
The hands PRX 40 205 are luminescent with SuperLumiNova®coating and are set very close to each other. This allows for a proximity to the upper crystal and a visual effect, which let the case look even thinner than it really is.
A splendid gift for a classy man, who loves vintage-style and the timepieces with integrated bracelets. Gift idea for your best man.
